How do u paste photos directly onto an email message u are composing without using the attachment button?

Monday, February 15th, 2010

When I try to use copy/paste, the paste option is not available. I have lots of pix of the aftermath of Hurricane Ike that I would like to send to my family and friends, but don’t want them to have to keep clicking on attachments to see each photo. I get lots of forwarded emails where the pix are directly in the message — so why can’t I get mine to paste?

In order to embed a picture in the body of a yahoo email or signature your photos needs to be web based on a site like:-

http://www.flickr.com/
http://photobucket.com/
http://fotopic.net/
http://www.snapfish.com/info17

Then you can copy the picture from the web site and paste onto the body of your email or your signature. This method will not work using the Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome browsers.

Photos that are based on your computer will not copy and paste in most email providers mail.

How do I eliminate the horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of my email message box?

Saturday, January 23rd, 2010

When I’m typing an email message why do I have to contend with an active horizontal scroll bar which I must move, left and right, to review what I’m writing? I have a friend who uses Yahoo email and he does not have a moving scroll bar.

Usually the reason for the scroll bar is because the viewable screen window is too narrow to view the entire area. So you will need to adjust either your screen resolution or the size of your viewable area. Do you keep your favorites column on the left? If so try making it narrower.

I saw this answer that says it cant be done with Yahoo…sooooooooooo, if the above does not work try what is mentioned below…

it’s simple with yahoo u can not.
the only option is to attach the photo and the reciepient will have to open or save it or if u don’t have the file u can place a link to the file on the web
other email services such as aol will allow u to insert the picture or u can get some free email accounts like aol or gmail and set them up in outlook or win mail which allows u to insert photos or if u upgrade to yahoo mail plus for $20/yr u can set up the account in outlook which will allow u to insert pics (u have to upgrade in order to use yahoo with outlook) if ure not familiar with outlook as i say below click on my pic and send me an email and i’ll explain
also the proper link format would be either http://somewebpage.com/myphoto/
or www.somewebpage.com/myphoto
or a combo of http://www.somewebpage.com/myphoto/
if u want more info just click my pic and send me an email and we’ll talk about it, always glad to

I would like to know if Yahoo provide a email message alert in my mobile phone?

Thursday, January 21st, 2010

For example in my Rediffmail account, everytime I am getting an email, I am receiving a message informing of a new email arrived.
It is possible to do the same with yahoo? How?

After you login to mail click on the link "Mobile Mail" or "Mobile" which is present towards the top right corner of the page – this will either open a dialog box where you can enter your mobile number or open a new wind where you can register your mobile number. You should be able to do this also by going to http://mobile.yahoo.com/mail after you login.

How do I set a sent yahoo email message as an attachment?

Wednesday, October 21st, 2009

I’m trying to send a new email with an old email i sent as an attachment in the new message.

You could simply copy the whole contents of the previous mail onto a word file and attach it as a document file to the new mail and send it out if it were merely the content you wanted to send out. In case you wanted to display the names of the people you actually sent it out to, just choose the option of replying to that mail and automatically it gets iuncluded in the mail then u can choose to change the person you are sending it to and/or the subject..voila you have the name of the people you sent it out to and the contents as well..hope that answered your query.

How to attach a 300-photo file into your email message fast? ?

Tuesday, October 20th, 2009

I have just finish my trip around the mountain part of America.
And I wanted to send my 300 photos to my friends.
There’s a file for the 300 photos.
However, the yahoo email won’t let me attach the file, only the pictures in it.
I don’t want to attach the photos one by one.
But just the file itself.

Is there anyway to attach the file to the email message without attaching them one by one?

assuming Yahoo will let you put an attachment that huge on an email, you can download Winrar and make an archive out of the files.

Personally I recommend imageshack or photobucket or something like that.

How do I include a picture in the body of a yahoo email message?

Sunday, October 18th, 2009

I’m trying to include a picture in the body of an email message. Does Yahoo allow you to do that?

I don’t have an answer to this….I am having the same problem. When someone sends me an email that has pictures in it and I want to pass on, the receiver gets just "red X’s". I am not really computer savvy, so can someone explain this to me in detail?

How can I resend a Yahoo email message that I already sent and it failed to deliver?

Saturday, October 17th, 2009

I sent an email message through Yahoo. When I checked my inbox I got a message that there was a delivery failure of the message. I would like to resend it but am not sure how to do it? It is in my sent folder.

You`ll have to take the header off the one in your sent folder. Put the correct recipients email address. Then resend.
