I have the Motorola Hint, with alltel.
EVERYTIME i get a text message the phone automatically restarts itself.
it’s honestly very annoying and stressful, what could have caused this?
I don’t know but have you tried going to the Alltel website and see if there are any software upgrades for your phone? If there aren’t any, or that doesn’t do it, call their customer service and see if they will do anything about a defective phone.

When I try and send a text message it gives me the text message not sent after I try to send it. I was texting earlier with no problems… I have unlimited text but why is it not working now?
I dont know if your message really sent or your unlimited text was expire. to make it sure go to your sent item see to it if it’s send if not and your unlimited text not expired then call customer support

I can never tell when I have a new text message because it never pops up on my screen. Anyway to turn this on?
When you get a text message you should get a little chat bubble in your notification bar (the bar at the very top). Then if you click the menu key, select notifications, it should show the text message.

I havent been able to take my phone to get it fixed, so im gonna see if i can fix it and save a trip.
I have a Motorola hint QA30, ever since i took the back off to put a memory card in, it shuts off. I took it off again and made sure everythings in right.. Now everytime i get a text message, my phone shuts off. (Its a brand new phone, and hasnt been through anything) 
Any help please?

My sister’s phone does the same thing. Hers is a Samsung. She has no idea why this happens.

I was asked very nicely if I could do some more reviews and get more into depth with this i465 Boost Phone. So this is a review of text messaging with the new Motorola i465 from Boost Mobile. I hope this review was a help to atleast one or more people, thats all I care about!
I am only able to do reviews with one hand b/c I hold the camera w/ the other!

I have a Motorola flip-phone that beeps twice after I send a text message or receive a text message. I don’t know how to set it to be silent. I’ve tried changing the ring tone to silent but that doesn’t work. Please help me.

So far I’ve had my RAZR 2 for about 5 days now and I absolutely love it. However, I’ve been having a problem setting tones and alerts.
I want to set one custom tone for text messages, however, because I have a different ringtone for different caller groups, whenever someone texts me, that person’s caller group ringtone ends up being their text tone as well.
Does anyone know how I can set one text message tone regardless of their ringtone?
I hope I didn’t confuse anyone. Thanks!
I know how to set the ringtones, but the problem is that it uses the caller’s personal RINGTONE I set for them rather than the MESSAGE TONE I set for everyone. Any suggestions?
go to audiunder settings then u go to the style of loudness u want then go to messages then select the one u want
