I would like to know the technical side a cell phone uses in order to send a text (sms) message.
I already know how Blackberry Devices send message so I was curious as to if it was basically the same path?
IDK (I don’t know) I would say, Ask Blackberry or the provider how the phone sends texts.

Hanging out by the pool at a small resort, Chase and his buddies notice a message on a cell phone belonging to the sleeping stranger next to them. When the stranger realizes that he left his phone by the pool he dials his number, expecting someone to pick it up. When Chase answers, he is offered five dollars by the stranger to return the phone. Danger follows when Chase overhears an argument between the stranger and another man that ends in an eerie silence. Now it’s up to the curious kid and his friends to crack the secret message before they end up in trouble.

I know how to send a text message to a cell phone via an email. How do I do the opposite: send an email to an email address via cell phone?
Thanks in advance
I don’t have web capabilities on my phone
The email addres usually known as six number. Take a try to send a text to cell phone via email, then look at the number of sender.
Use the known number to tex the email addres via cell phone.
We’ve to know that the number will be different among other email address, so you must know its(email) number first so that you can text it via cell phone..
Thanks,

SMS technology is not only a mobile phone feature. It is on the World Wide Web too and it’s available for free. It is great way to connect and stay connected with people.
The Web is such an effective tool because nearly anybody of all ages now knows how to use the internet. One can shop, bank, pay bills, play games, promote, call, chat, email and a lot more.
It is not surprising that so many people around the globe are passionate into surfing online and spend literally the whole day sitting in front of the PC. But few individuals, may be neophytes, aren’t well aware that one can actually send messages from a regular computer to a mobile phone subscribed to any network.
That’s right, almost everything is possible now. And, aside from text messages being sent via PC to mobile phone, sending text messages from a computer to landline telephone and forwarding ring tones from a computer to cell phone, is feasible too.
Without doubt, the SMS technology offers an entirely different way of communicating with the world. Conveying a few words such as “what have you been up to?” or “hi, there!” with your circle of friends, family and relatives is easier and more convenient. You can remain connected with people at all times with SMS.
May be you are an accountant busy with your QuickBooks and face your PC the entire day at the office. Your hubby is a geodetic engineer assigned in a Southern African site. Texting him to say something endearing from your PC with Internet connection is fairly easy and simple. Or are you full time homemaker and rely on your spouse for your finances?
At last you are all set for the opening of your gift and boutique shop downtown. You need to invite friends and relatives but you don’t have a lot of time for formal invitations. Access your computer and type in a quick note inviting each one you wish to come to your shop launching. If you have a group messaging feature, you just have to key in your message and hit send only once. Supply the mobile numbers in and put your contacts in a group. Your invites can then email you or text you back.
Select a website that offers such feature. Follow the process of signing up. You can now send SMS to any cell phone number you choose. Your message will be received by your recipient right away (in less than 5 seconds after you click “send”). This service operates just like the process of a mobile phone-to-mobile phone text messaging. It is readily on hand at your fingertips and it is free. Registration and texting is normally provided free by commercial websites.
Like a mobile phone, there is also bulk texting using the personal computer. This is very helpful in sending out the same message to a lot of numbers in your contact. Rather than typing the same message repeatedly, you just need to compose it one time, input all the numbers of the people you want to include in the recipient list, and in just one click, the message is sent to all of them instantly. These are all in real time.
Texting technology really changed the way of communication in the modern world. It is just important to bear in mind always to use this technology responsibly.

I know how to do it from aim and yahoo messenger but quite a few of my friends don’t have that feature on their phones or they have it blocked. Is there another way to text message a cell phone from the internet?
Here’s how
